Fibrelight Rod Stretcher

The Fibrelight Rod Stretcher is a lightweight stretcher that can be quickly set up in the event of an emergency. The stretcher is designed to be used without any training. The rod stretcher can be carried between a four to six man team whilst offering rigid support for the casualty. It is fully adjustable, therefore is universal for casualties of any size for both horizontal and vertical lifts.

The stretcher is made from carbon fibre rods enclosed in flanged tubular webbing, which creates a strong and stable structure. The material is wipe clean, perfect for extreme conditions, as well as being rot and mildew resistant. The rod stretcher has been successfully tested for thermal ageing, weathering, UV light and oil resistance.

This stretcher has been designed for use by rescue teams, paramedics and first aiders. It can also be used both on land and at sea.
