The Hammar H20 HE-0300 Manual Remote Release System allows you to release liferafts from the bridge or other convenient locations onboard your vessel from a distance in a controlled manner.

This is an alternative to the standard HRUs and ensures efficient deployment in the event of an emergency.

This unit works by manually activating one or more H20 release units using a vacuum pump that is created by a hand-operated pump. When this hand pump is activated, the air inside the stainless steel tubing releases and creates an under pressure inside the system. This triggers the spring-loaded knife to be released cutting the rope sling holding the liferaft.

This system is suitable for smaller systems with few liferafts or other units. This is suitable for installations of up to 50m.

The Hammar H20 HE-0300 MRRS needs to be replacing every 2 – 3 years

The Hammar Manual Remote Release System does not come with a Hydrostatic Release Unit included.

The Hammar H20 HR-1000 HRU standard SOLAS model (YELLOW) is sold separately. Or can be sold as an optional extra with the MRRS
