The Ocean Signal SafeSea EPIRB1 Pro CAT 1 EPIRB operates in the 406MHz satellite band. This band comprises the international distress frequencies that are constantly monitored by Cospas-Sarsat, the international search and rescue satellite operator, ensuring a rapid response when a signal is received, no matter where it is in the world. As the world’s most compact Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon or EPIRB, the EPIRB1 Pro pairs its compact stature with a durable design, making it a practical option to meet the needs of all commercial, fishing, and leisure vessels. The product has been designed for maximum efficiency and boasts a 10-year battery life in addition to superb operating life when activated, keeping rescue services updated with your location for longer. This EPIRB is fitted with a 121.5MHz homing beacon used by rescue services for close-in location of vessels in distress. In addition, the EPIRB is fitted with a high brightness LED strobe light for additional impact, especially at night. For emergencies where a user is not physically able to reach the EPIRB in time, The EPIRB1 Pro also comes complete with a Category I Automatic Release Housing (commonly referred to as ‘float free’). This ensures that the EPIRB is automatically deployed from the bracket by the internal Hydrostatic Release Unit, and then also automatically activates and floats to the surface to send your distress message to the satellite network. The Automatic Release Housing (ARH) also includes a convenient adapter providing multiple retrofit options. Use the adapter to easily mount the ARH using the same mounting holes that were previously used for older and larger EPIRBS such as the Ocean Signal E100/E100G, Jotron Tron 60s, and McMurdo E5/G5. Delivery Times
Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday via First Class Royal Mail or Courier Express Delivery.
Delivery can take up-to 1-3 working days from dispatch.
We aim to dispatch orders placed before 1400 hours weekdays on the same day.
Orders placed after 2pm Monday to Thursday will be dispatched the following working day.
Fridays after 1400 hours and over the weekend are dispatched the next working day.

All Liferaft Orders are FREE of Charge* UK Mainland Only via Courier or to a Collection Point: see Terms and Conditions for FREE Liferaft deliveries as above.
Other Items purchased at the same time as the liferaft will have a delivery charge applied.
Delivery Services We Use
Standard First Class Royal Mail Delivery – 1-3 working days from dispatch for X Small Items to Large Items that do not require Special Provisions to Ship.
 Courier Only APC or FedEx Delivery – 1-2 working days from dispatch for Extra Large/Heavy items or with restrictions or Special Provisions required to ship. Items ordered with batteries are Courier Only delivery. All lifejackets and any products of high value or containing a cylinder are Courier Only delivery
Collection from our Suffolk Marine Safety Shop is FREE and orders can be collected Monday-Friday between 8:30-17:30, excluding Bank Holidays.
Please wait until you have received an email notification that your order has been processed before coming to collect. Orders placed over the weekend are processed the next working day.
Please allow a longer time for the order to be processed due to the business being closed over the weekend or bank holiday.
Collection & Drop Off* Orders are available to be delivered to a Suffolk Marine Safety collection point for customers to collect at their free will. Collection points are accessible 24/7.
Deliveries to the collection points at the following marinas are subject to scheduling and a delivery charge applies and will be added at checkout.
