The McMurdo SmartFind G8 PLUS AIS EPIRB combines global 406 MHz satellite alerting with localised AIS locating and an Infra-Red (night-vision) optical signal to significantly accelerate rescue in low-light and challenging conditions. This rugged Category 2 manual EPIRB features multi-constellation GNSS with GPS and Galileo receivers, a unique inbuilt AIS transmitter, and full MEOSAR optimisation for faster detection and improved location accuracy.
