This is an alternative to the standard HRUs and ensures efficient deployment in the event of an emergency. This unit works by manually activating one or more H20 release units using a vacuum pump that is created by a hand-operated pump. When this hand pump is activated, the air inside the stainless steel tubing releases and creates an under pressure inside the system. This triggers the spring-loaded knife to be released cutting the rope sling holding the liferaft. This system is suitable for smaller systems with few liferafts or other units. This is suitable for installations of up to 50m. Features
