The Jon Buoy Inflatable Danbuoy is part of the new Ocean Safety Jon Buoy range which uses innovative retro-reflective technology that significantly enhances the visibility of the hi-vis fabric, making it highly reflective and increasing perception during dark conditions, aiding location and leading to reduced casualty.

The inflatable Jon Buoy Danbuoy is stylish, compact and weighs only 3.9kg. It can be mounted on the pushpit and is easily deployed in an emergency. In the event of a man overboard, simply unclip the unit from its mounting bracket and throw; the Danbuoy then automatically inflates. It replaces the traditional Danbuoy and is also fitted with a light and whistle as standard.

The Danbuoy hard case offers a more ergonomic and streamlined design for improved deployment and manoeuvrability.

Increase your chances of rescue and faster recovery by fitting a MOB1 or PLB3 to Jon Buoy Danbuoy.

To increase the chances of a faster rescue and recovery of a casualty, you can retrofit the Jon Buoy Danbuoy. This is done by ordering an Ocean Signal MOB1 or an Ocean Signal PLB3 with AIS and RLS, along with the recovery module.

We will also register your vessel’s MMSI Number with the Ocean Signal MOB1 (We will contact you for your MMSI Number once we receive your order and before fitting the MOB1).
Fitting and Programming the MOB1 to your MMSI is £10.00  and is included in the prices given.
