The Ocean Safety Traditional Offshore Danbuoy is designed to assist in a MOB recovery situation, to mark the location of a casualty. This allows the crew onboard the boat to identify the casualty in the water and recover them from the water.
This danbuoy is extendable so can be seen from further distances. It is also telescopic and when extended complies with RORC and World Sailing Offshore Regulations.
It comes with a safety line, a flag and a highly visible colour scheme which makes it easier to recover the MOB.
This danbuoy is designed to be used for offshore sailing.
