Job Description

This position is extremely varied and would suit someone with a sales, administration, and customer-facing retail background. The ideal candidate would have a positive attitude, be able to pick up new skills and systems quickly, work well under pressure and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

This role requires a highly flexible and willing approach. You will be a key member of staff in a small but busy team.

Responsibilities

 

    • Serving customers and dealing with telephone enquiries
    • Processing cash, card, and online payments
    • Preparing and following up on sales quotations
    • Maintaining customer relationships and accurate records on our database system
    • Processing product returns and refunds
    • Reporting inventory requirements and raising Purchase Orders
    • Promoting products
    • Managing product inventory and price labels
    • Keeping retail and showroom areas orderly

 

Experience

Sales experience is essential, and an interest in the marine sector would be a strong benefit.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays)

8:30 – 5:00
