The Hammar HE-0100 Hydrostatic release unit is designed EPIRBs
Replace Hammar H20E Hydrostatic Release Unit and bolt after two years of service.
A spring activated knife cuts the release rod at a water depth of 1.5 to 4 meters, allowing the EPIRB to float free.
Expiry date: 24 months after installation
Bolt and Nut not included.
Use only manufacturer approved replacement bolt.

Servicing Intervals
The Hammar H20E needs no annual service, maintenance or spare parts, but MUST BE REPLACED AFTER TWO YEARS INCLUDING THE BOLT.
Approvals
The Hammar H20 hydrostatic release units are approved all over the world, fulfill the requirements of the SOLAS 74/96 Convention, Reg. III/4 LSA Code, MO Res. MSC. 48/(66), IMO Res. MSC. 81(70), approved to EU Directive 96/98 EC on Marine Equipment and has a NATO stock number.
Release depth 1,5 – 4,0 metres according to IMO/SOLAS regulations. The required certificates can be downloaded under Approvals.
Please Note: Due to MCA regulations, all HRUs are now date marked and therefore, cannot be refunded after purchase.
