Description
Jon Buoy Glo Lite Recovery Module
Jon Buoy Glo Lite Recovery Module is part of the new Ocean Safety Jon Buoy Glo Lite range which uses innovative retro-reflective technology that significantly enhances the visibility of the hi-vis fabric, making it highly reflective and increases perception during dark conditions, aiding location and leading to reduced casualty.
The inflatable Jon Buoy Danbuoy & Horseshoe Combination is stylish, compact and light. It can be mounted on the pushpit and is easily deployed in an emergency. Recovering a man overboard can be an extremely hazardous operation for both the crew and the casualty, regardless of vessel size.
The Jon Buoy Recovery Module is designed to make this a simple operation, whilst increasing vital visibility and protection for the casualty. With the Ocean Safety Jon Buoy Glo Lite Recovery Module fitted on the rail facing outboard, in the event of a man overboard, a lever at the back of the case should be activated and releases the module to the casualty, and the static line attached to the vessel activates inflation.
Accepted as a direct replacement for one traditional Danbuoy, horseshoe, drogue, light and whistle, specified within the World Sailing Offshore Special Regulations, where two would normally be required. Fitted with light and whistle as standard. The Jon Buoy Recovery Module casing is available in white or carbon options.
